New Arrivals: Carl Yastrzemski and Eddie Murray Signed Papers
I was pretty jazzed to get these Carl Yastrzemski and Eddie Murray autographs. Both are signed on what looks like autograph book paper, and in both cases with a bold, blue ballpoint pen.
Collecting Cleveland Indians Topps team sets from 1952-present, as well as post-war minor and major league autographs.

The 1966 Cleveland Indians were not a great team, finishing the season with an 81-81 record and 5th in the American League. What made them respectable was a fantastic pitching staff led by Gary Bell, Sonny Siebert, Sam McDowell, Steve Hargan, and Luis Tiant.
Jake Gautreau was drafted by San Diego with the 14th overall pick of the 2001 MLB draft. In his last season at Tulane, he hit .355/.435/.659 with 21 HR and was thought to be one of the better college hitters in the country. Coming into the 2002 season he was[…]
Ray Boone was a very good player, though his best seasons came after he left Cleveland. Ray Boone spent 13 seasons in the big leagues (1948-1960). He was a rookie the Cleveland team that won the 1948 World Series, and would spend six years with the club. Boone was a[…]
Asdrubal Cabrera was never a super fun autograph to get, but I was able to snag a couple over the years.
Collectors Choice. I am not sure why, but they are some of my favorite looking cards of the 90’s, and assuming the photo works, some of my favorite cards to get signed.
Outfielder Lew Ford. Back in 2004, filling in for an injured Torii Hunter, Ford hit .299/.381/.446 with 15 HR for the Twins. He finished 24th in MVP voting. It was his second season in the majors, and it seemed like the Minnesota had found a hidden gem in the 27-year[…]
Scott Baker was the Twins 2nd round pick of the 2003 draft. He made the majors in 2005 and would spend 10-seasons in the big leagues. He was never an ace, but he was a very solid starting pitcher for Twins, especially from 2008-2010 when he averaged 181 IP and[…]
Eric Haase was one of the Indians Top 25 prospects in both 2018 and 2019. He had a ton of power and was solid behind the plate, but he also struck out a ton. Haase would see some time in both 2018 and 2019 with the Tribe, but never found[…]
Shortstop Miguelangel Sierra was a former Astros top prospect who is now playing independent ball with the Sugar Land Skeeters. Why I like him From 2016-2018 Miguelangel was one of the Astro’s better middle-infield prospects, ranking as high as #11 following the 2016 season. So that is something! But Miguelangel’s[…]
