From the Collection: Ted Williams, of, Boston Red Sox
…
Ted Williams. Dude was interesting. Complicated. Had a heck of a life. His baseball reference page is yet another you need to visit to appreciate. His stats are absolutely insane. How good was he? His last season, in 1960, he had an OBP of .451 and cracked 29 HR. Not bad for a 41-year-old.
…
All told, Williams would retire with 521 HR, 19 All-Star game selections, two triple crowns, six batting titles, and two MVP awards. He retired with a .482 OBP.

On the WAR front, Williams is 14th all-time with 121.8. The closest active player to him is Mike Trout at 87.5. I don’t think Trout going to catch up.
