UC San Diego infielder JC Allen had a very nice series this weekend in Hawaii. He went 4-13 with 2 HR and six RBI. It was a continuation of what ended up being a fantastic season, hitting .304 with a .394 OBP, and second on the team with 14 HR. I went back to game #2 just to get him and Michael Crossland‘s autograph, and it was worth it, since I got to see the first of the two home runs he hit in the series–which was a no-doubt shot to left field.
