I normally never try to buy autographs of players who are “hot”, but I loved this card too much to wait on it. It on-card and bold…can’t ask for much more.
Juan Soto is a very good baseball player. I find its a good idea to never talk too much about a player being a “generational” talent after only a season or two, but with Soto, it’s hard to think we are not seeing a future Hall of Fame player.
- This season he hit .282/.401/.548 with 34 HR, good for an OPS+ of 138. He did this during his age-20 season.
- And he is not letting his first trip to the playoffs phase him, as hit is hitting .250/.361/.481 with 3 HR.
During the playoffs, you saw the name “Ted Williams” tossed around in the same sentence as Soto. That is just about as high praise as you are going to find.
