I got this autograph in-person a couple years ago in Lake County.
Albert Abreu was on the Houston Astro’s low-A team when I got this autograph. He was already well thought of prospect at the time. My notes:
Abreu entered the season as one of the Astros top 15 prospects and is having a good season in Low-A. You have to ignore his record (2-8), and focus on his 53 hits and 90K in 77 innings. He is more than holding his own as a 20-year-old in the MWL. – 30 July 2016
In 2017 he was traded to the Yankees in the Brian McCann deal. He had a rough 2018 that was plagued by injuries but was able to right the ship late in the season. He enters the 2019 season as one of New Yorks Top 10 prospects.
