I was able to get this autograph TTM from Mookie Betts in 2012, while he was playing for the Low-A Lowell Spinners. It’s hard to believe, but at the time Betts was not a huge prospect and was not even ranked by Baseball America. It wasn’t until 2013, when he added power to his game, that Betts started to rocket up prospect lists. He would make his major league debut in 2014, and would only take a year to become one of the best players in the game. Since his debut, he has been selected to six All-Star games, won five Gold Gloves, four Silver Sluggers, and was the 2018 American League MVP. And he won the World Series with the 2018 Red Sox. That is quite the resume for a player who has not even turned 30 yet.
