A couple of seasons ago infielder Aaron Bracho was one of the Cleveland Guardians’ best position prospects. But after two terrible seasons in High-A, his prospect status was on life-support. The dude could not hit over .200 in either season, and there was no reason to expect that 2023 was going to be any different.

But here we are in 2023, and Aaron Bracho is right back in the prospect spotlight. The Guardians moved him to AA to open the season, and he has hit .258/.361/.464 and he has more than doubled his previous season highs in HR with 17. While it’s unlikely he will open the 2024 season on the big league roster, he will force the issue if he continues to hit like this in AAA.
