Triston Casas was Boston’s first-round pick of the 2018 draft–26th overall.
He was considered one of the best all-around batters in the draft. For a high school player, his bat is remarkably polished and has both plus power and plate discipline. There is not a lot to dislike. He might have some issues staying at the hot corner, but with a bat as good as his that is not really a big concern at this point.
