I have always been a fan of Brad Miller. I was thrilled when he signed with the Indians in 2019. He was an effective hitter during his short time with the club, and I thought he would be with the team for the rest of the season.
But then there was a roster crunch, and the Tribe brass had to decide to keep two of Miller, Eric Stamets, and Max Moroff. It was an easy decision for the club: Miller was the most expensive, so he was gone. It was a bummer.
This season with the Cardinals Miller is hitting .275/.396/.516 with 5 HR, good for an OPS+ of 146. So he is pretty much better than any Indians player in 2020. How fun.
