Jeromy Burnitz spent 14-seasons in the majors, from 1993 to 2006. He would retire with a line of .253/.345/.481 with 315 HR and an OPS+ of 112. He would have six seasons of 30+ HR. Despite those power numbers, he was only selected to one All-Star team (1999).

Burnitz was briefly a Cleveland Indian. In 1996 the 27-year old Burnitz hit .281/.406/.523 with 7 HR and looked like a solid young slugger. But the Tribe brass decided to trade him to the Brewers for Kevin Seitzer, who would spend two unremarkable seasons with Indians before retiring. Frustrating.
