Tyler Soderstrom was drafted by the Oakland Athletics with the 26th overall pick of the 2020 draft. He was considered one of the best prep catchers in the country, with a plus-plus bat that projects to hit for average and power.
It is worth saying again, he is a catcher. So his bat, which would probably play at any position on the field, is even more valuable. Needless to say, he opens the 2022 season as Oakland’s #1 prospect and one of the Top 25 prospects in the game.
