Rodolfo Duran, c, Philadelphia Phillies – Signed as an international free agent by the Phillies in 2014. Spent all of 2018 in Low-A ball, his first time there, and hit .260/.304/.495 with 18 HR. A 20-year-old catcher with plus power is pretty exciting.
Stephen Tarpley, p, New York Yankees – Drafted in the 3rd round (98th overall) by the Baltimore Orioles in 2013. Traded twice in his career; Orioles to Pirates as part of the Travis Snider deal in 2015, then from the Pirates to the Yankees in the Ivan Nova deal in 2016. This season he pitched in relief for the New York AA and AAA teams andputu up great numbers (1.94 ERA, 0.962 WHIP over 69.2 innings), and then appeared in three games with the big league club (9 IP, 6 hits and 13K with 6 walks). He is a little old at 25, but seems like he will be a useful big league option out of the pen.
