This card represents a turning point for me. 2005 Studio had a neat design and one that I thought would look great signed. I bought quite a few packs–maybe even a whole box–to get singles to send TTM for Spring Training 2006. It ended up being a monumental waste of time, and that Spring I got something like 20% of the cards I sent out back and almost none of the Studio cards. Cliff Lee and David Wright ended up being the only two. It was becoming more clear that TTM to MLB players was a dying hobby, and marked the end of any real effort I put into sending to Major League teams. Still, if I was only going to get a couple back, this was a good one.
