Ah, forgot this one! Also acquired at the MLB Japan All-Star Game practice yesterday.
Not really a huge Royals fan, but I do really like Whit Merrifield. I got to see him play plenty this past season since he is in the same division of the Indians. He had an amazing campaign in 2018, ending it as both the American League leader in hits (192) and stolen bases (45). How he was not an All-Star is beyond me, though I imagine playing in Kansas City will do that.
He was on the short list of guys I was hoping to get, so this was a very cool addition to my collection.
